This past weekend I watched Q & A on C-SPAN. It was an interview between Brian Lamb and filmmaker Charles Ferguson on his new documentary NO END IN SIGHT.
Charles Ferguson discusses his film "No End in Sight" on the Bush Administration's decision to go to war in Iraq as well as their policies on U.S. troop levels in Iraq and dealings with the Iraqi military and government. The film, which Mr. Ferguson produced and directed, includes interviews with former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage, Ambassador Barbara Bodine who was in charge of Baghdad during the Spring of 2003, Lawrence Wilkerson, former Chief of Staff to Colin Powell, General Jay Garner, who was in charge of U.S. efforts in Iraq through May 2003, as well as Iraqi civilians and American soldiers. It was a great interview with several film clips. I've provided only two here so you can get the flavor of the film. I think it's important that we not forget how this all started and how it was handled once we got into it. There seems to be some reluctance to remember the past and to not make the same mistake again. CAN YOU SAY IRAN. Apparently there is one set of rights for Blackwater mercenaries and another for the rest of us. Normally when a group of people alleged to have gunned down 17 civilians in a lawless shooting spree are questioned, investigators will tell them something along the lines of: "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." But that is not what the Blackwater operatives involved in the September 16 Nisour Square shooting in Iraq were told. Most of the Blackwater shooters were questioned by State Department Diplomatic Security investigators with the understanding that their statements and information gleaned from them could not be used to bring criminal charges against them, nor could they be introduced as evidence. So now IRAQ isn't enough now president Bush wants World War Three with IRAN.
Back in August 2006 Keith Olbermann did a piece on his show Countdown called Politics and Terror. This was a replay of the show he had previously done. This is a 12 part series and at the time I didn't have the disk space to run it. That's changed since I moved to GoDaddy for my Hosting. EARLY SCREENING FOR AUTISM
Physicians Group Urges Early Autism Screening
The American Academy of Pediatrics, or AAP, is urging early screening for autism spectrum disorders, or ASDs, for all children. The group, currently holding its annual meeting in San Francisco, is releasing two new clinical reports. The first, "Identification and Evaluation of Children With Autism Spectrum Disorders," calls for early screening and provides information on signs and symptoms to help pediatricians recognize ASDs in patients. The second, "Management of Children With Autism Spectrum Disorders," emphasizes early intervention and reviews treatments and educational strategies for children with ASDs. This is was a part of a larger story that I read on The Huffington Post the other day. I thought it was interesting because the writer used the same "IDEA" here in America as opposed to the third world to get her start.
Come to think about it I did the same thing years and years ago when I was about 21. I wanted to buy my first home and the cost was $10,000.00 (today that house is worth over $400,000.00). I needed a co-signer to get a $1,000.00 loan and my older brother gave me a hand. I paid the loan off and got the house. Ok, a temporary fix, but corn nuts would do. As I headed to the store my car radio was tuned into BBC. I listened to an interview with Matt Flannery, the founder of Kiva.org, a new micro finance organization. I pulled over to take notes. Kiva was me, mine, a void filler in the finest form. Kiva, meaning unity in Swahili, would allow me to help fund a small loan to an entrepreneur in a developing country, through their website and paypal. I immediately related to the concept.
Twenty years ago, while fleeing an abusive relationship in San Diego, I ended up on my Sister's doorstep in Seattle. I left with very little, some clothes, my sewing machine, my bag patterns, $40.00, and the remains of my self-esteem. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to reinvent my life, but how? I've been posting the ASPCA banner down at the bottom of each post for sometime now. I had plans to make a monthly contribution but I'm a lazy dude and just never got around to do it. How stupid is that.
This past week we saw the fires in California and I was happy to hear that when they called for mandatory evacuation they also said to bring your animals. That was a lesson learned from Katrina. But even with that there where many animals that were left behind, which reminded me to get off my duff and make that contribution to the ASPCA which I have now done. I signed up for the automatic donation of $25.00 per month and since I pay my bills once a month I've already posted my Nov. payment even though I won't actually pay for it at the end of Nov. I've also updated my KIVA balance but will actually make that payment between now and this Friday. It to has been updated on my balance area of the BLOG. I guess I want people to know that when they see the "Balance as of:" image to just know that the amount shown will be correct at sometime during that month and not necessarily on the first day of the month.POLITICS AND TERROR 8 of 12

What about Fire Insurance in Calif. - Back in Aug 2007 I did a 5 part series on Fire Insurance. This series talks about the problems they had back a few years ago with their Fire Insurance. I hope they fixed the problem since then.
Just as an aside, we have an upcoming election with an Insurance measure called R67 that says the Insurance Company must make a good faith offer to settle your claim or they could lose up to three times the value of the claim plus attorneys fees. Doing their job and paying for HONEST Insurance claims is the right thing to do and should not hurt them. If your not sure how your going to Vote on R-67 in Washington watch this series you'll say YES on R-67.I DIDN'T START THE FIRE
I haven't talked about the fires in California but I can tell you I have been watching it on TV. I've also have been using the Internet to do some research.
You know we lived in Spring Valley, California on Chapo Court about 15 miles east of downtown San Diego. We drove into San Diego to work right on the San Diego waterfront for the Naval Supply Center everyday. I loved San Diego (except for the lack of season changes and the fact that it only rained when I needed to pour some concrete, but that a different story) and especially the neighborhood we lived in. It was great. We lived their for about 7 years. I have heard the name Spring Valley used a couple of times on TV but was never able to see any pictures associated with them that I recognized. The one thing they don't need down there in So. Cal is the NONESENCE that was put out on the FOX NOISE Fox and Friends show the other day. Watch this video. * *WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD

MURPHY THE DOG: A GIFT WHO KEPT ON GIVING

Murphy's law: Love. Our dog Murphy died last week, on her bed in the corner of the dining room just before noon on a cool but sunny late winter's day. The kind of day she loved most. She was 14, plus a few months. A good long life. We knew the end was near, but we weren't ready. No one ever is. How could you be? As she lay dying, I wrapped her in an old afghan, sat down on the floor next to her and waited. And when her labored breathing finally came to an end and her cloudy eyes stared off in the distance, I had a good cry. Just Murphy and me. Dog people will understand. Those who say, "It was just a dog. Get over it," will not. But I'm not writing to those people today. I'm writing to those who know what joy a dog can bring. And Murphy brought us great joy. I don't think there was a day she didn't make me laugh. My partner, Jack, always said she was an angel sent to us from above. I'm not sure "angel" is the right word, and our neighbors would surely agree with that. But I understand. She was a gift, as all dogs are. Yes, she was just a dog. But she was our dog. And we loved her. Quirks and all. Murphy was a soft-coated wheaten terrier, a feisty lot, and she more than lived up to her Irish clan's reputation. She had her definite likes and dislikes, from the mailman (pure evil) to fashion (keep it simple). She never tolerated poorly dressed people. She could spot them a block away. A sinister-looking hat. A too-long coat. Furry boots. All of that sent her into a barking frenzy, exposing fashion victims for what they were. Hundreds of times I crossed the street, never knowing what to say. "Sorry, my dog doesn't like your outfit" never seemed quite right. For years, we spent each morning in the woods of D.C.'s Rock Creek Park, exploring. And that included the creek. Murphy took to water like her ancestors took to Guinness. She'd wade out until she was just covered, then wag her tiny tail so furiously that a fountain of spray would appear at her rear, an act people came from far and wide to see. And back home, tired at the end of the day, she'd claim my seat the moment I stood up. I then moved on to another perch. It just seemed the natural thing to do. Her dying in the dining room seemed right. She spent so much time there, sitting by my chair, waiting for whatever would "drop" her way. She preferred white meat and warm buttered rolls, but she wasn't choosy. She accepted all gifts from above. But in the end, she would give the ultimate gift: Dying at home on her terms. No vet. No needle. No final trip in the car with her in my arms. Where Murphy once raced through the woods and into the creek, our new pup, Maggie, will follow come summer. With any luck, there will be another 14 years of sunrise strolls, dropped rolls, lost seats. And, over time, Maggie will grow to know us as well as Murphy once did, and love us just the same. Quirks and all. Because that's what dogs do.

I saw Talk Show Host Stephanie Miller on Hardball last Friday. She did a great job and damn near gave Chris Matthews a heart attack. Watch this short video of her telling him he's a "RIGHT WING TOOL."

One other issue I find amusing is the viewer polls that FOX NOISE runs during each of their Presidential Debates. As has been the case in the past last nights voting went the same way with Ron Paul winning.
In each of these polls Ron Paul has won and it just PISSES Hannity off. Last night when Colmes was reading the results Sean just had to interrupt him as he is want to do by saying "they" are stacking the vote. Then just to make the point they called in Frank Luntz and his focus group of zombies to ask them if Ron Paul won the debate by a show of hands and not one hand went up. Well surprise, surprise. I've been watching the reporting of the Ellen D show the other day when she broke down and cried because of a dog.
The majority of the coverage has had a hint. . . no it's more than that it's a kind of mocking of her because she is talking about a dog "ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE IS A WAR GOING ON" in the words of Joe Scarborough this morning on his Morning Joe program. The problem is she adopted a dog and found that it didn't get along with her cat, so she gave it to her hairdressers 12 year old daughter. The problem came up because the folks that run this animal rescue agency has a clause that says she can do that without first getting their permission. They went to the girls house and with the help of the police took the dog away from the girl. On her show Ellen broke down and cried over the situation and the problem she had caused. I thought she was very sincere and made the case to have the dog returned to the little girl. Having had to have my Billy put down a couple of months ago I know how hard it can be when you lose one of your animals. I still think of Billy and miss him. I hope this problem can be solved the little girl wants and loves that dog and I think Ellen did the right thing by finding a good loving home for the dog. * *MEDIA TERROR

IT'S CALLED HOPE
It's been awhile since I last talked about AUTISM. I did a number of Rants back when IMUS In The Morning was on the air. He was a big supporter for doing more research on AUTISM.
Just as an aside I think IMUS was not given a fair shake back when he said what he said. I think he did what needed to be done but for some that is never enough. To me the ones that spoke out the loudest are not interested in looking in the mirror themselves. The sin is that the people that count in all this accepted his apology and moved on, they others that saw an opportunity in all this used it for their own purposes. What a shame. Anyway that's how I saw it. As I said IMUS did a lot to promote AUTISM awareness and so when I was watching Good Morning America yesterday I was very interested in the discussion they had on AUTISM. Something I've wondered about since I've become aware of AUTISM is why there seems to be such a reluctance to try things. Like the removal of mercury in fish and taking mercury-based preservatives out of childhood vaccines. Well now there is another one to add to the growing list. Watch the video and you be the judge. To me this seems like a no-brainer because I can see ZERO side effects. It's not like taking a pill that has not been tested. It's not a new experimental procedure that you are trying for the first time. I was blessed with good health kids and I would hope that if that was not the case I would do everything possible to make that kid better. In this case what the hell is the downside. . . I just don't see it. Am I wrong. IT'S CALLED HOPE. * *AL-QAEDA IN IRAQ REPORTED CRIPPLED

A CRY FOR HELP
I watched Meet The Press show with Bill Cosby and Alvin F Poussaint yesterday. It was a great discussion and one that needs to be held from sea to shining sea.
I remember back a few years when I first heard Bill Cosby talk about these problems and I about fell off my chair. He was talking about things I think we all knew but didn't talk about black or white. I'm a white senior male that know the stats for example; I know there are more blacks in jails than whites. I know there are more unwed mothers in the black community than in white. I know there is less education in the black household than in white. I know there is more unemployment in the black community than in white. I know there is more violence in black on black than black on white. I know all these things and much more yet like most of America don't talk openly and honestly about them. It's hard and it hurts. It's so much easier to just look the other way. We go all crazy on some of this CRAP. Don IMUS makes a dumb remark and they world comes to and end. Yet blacks use the same terms or similar or worse and we just turn our backs. At the very least it's called RESPECT. Women deserve it and men need to learn how to give it. Bill Cosby has been pushing this for some time. I don't hear Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson talking like Cosby does. I think the time for new leaders in the black community has passed. I don't recall either Al or Jessie going after blacks as Cosby does. They seem to want to go after the high profile issues rather than root causes of the black problem. The one thing I did notice during the IMUS stuff was that I did see some new black faces that spoke with clarity and understanding and I'm hopeful that they will come to the front soon. Just as a why to end this I recall years ago a show I think Peter Jennings did about the poor in America and when I say years ago I mean it, it was maybe 20-30 years ago. Anyway, it wasn't about black poor or white poor it was about the poor. It should the good, the bad and the ugly part of being poor. I believe that that show could be run uncut today and it would still show the same problems. I don't have the answers but the one thing I know those that say you just "GOT TO PULL YOURSELF UP BY YOUR BOOT STRAPS" are full of BULLSHIT. Sometimes you need a helping hand. . . I know.THE GREAT BUDGET LIE

WE READ LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
The other day the Kitsap Sun published the below letter to the ed. Having worked for the Government for 35 years I just couldn't let this letter stand. So I wrote my own letter (which they edited and so the words they left out are in bold print)because I know that the vast majority of people that work for the government are good, hardworking people.
To me this is just more of that HATE YOUR GOVERNMENT BULLSHIT that the folks on the right just love to put out. As I say in my letter I've heard this nonesence before.FEDERAL EMPLOYMENT: Such a Deal! I hope all you federal workers enjoyed Columbus Day — another one of your much-needed holidays. It amazes me how much I hear federal workers on my street complain about their jobs. Let’s see, 10 holidays, 13 sick days, five weeks of vacations. And then there’s the very generous pay, with little to no productivity. My neighbors tell me if they’re tired they will rest at work. Making appointments, no problem; they leave when ever they want. Well I had to work on Monday — darn private companies, the nerve of them. Can you federal workers imagine if all the rest of the private work force had your schedule and productivity? I’m sure very little would get done. Mike Thomas -- SILVERDALE

I was one of those federal workers you wrote about and I say your full of yourself. I'm retired now having spent 35 years working for the Navy and I can tell you that during all my years with the government I've heard this bs. I can't tell you how many days I went in to work early (with out overtime) because I wanted or needed to get some work done. Generous pay you say. You need to work for that pay it is not automatic. If you hired in at a certain level it would take at least 18 years to reach the top of that grade. For all of my 35 years I have never seen anyone taking a knap. We are permitted by law to take breaks in the morning, afternoon and for lunch. If you don't have that benefit it's time you found another job. For about the last fifteen years of my career I was in charge of a group of employees and I can tell you they never left work without permission that's absurd. A sharply divided state Supreme Court has ruled that a law that bars political candidates from deliberately making false statements about their opponents violates the First Amendment right of free speech. In a 5-4 ruling, the high court affirmed a state Court of Appeals ruling that overturned the law. What the hell is R-67 you say. Well if you listen or watch the "Consumers Against Higher Insurance Rates" ads you'd think it has to do with an increase in your Insurance rates. This is just BULL. Even the ad sponsors name is BULLSHIT and if you fall for it you'll end up the loser. Back in August 20, 2007 I did a series of Rants on Insurance Companies and the use of WORDS, I called it "Sticks and Stones". It showed how Insurance Companies are able to skip paying for valid losses on their policies by the use of a couple of words in this example "EXTENDED REPLACEMENT" which didn't have the same meaning that people thought their insurance was providing. So that's why this Organization that is running these ads is not what you think. They are back by the Insurance Companies and have deep pockets to fund this group. Watch this video and you'll see for yourself why you should vote YES on R-67 and that if the Insurance Companies just paid HONEST CLAIMS without taking the folks to court for years to delay those payments this law would have zero effect on them. In other words DO THE RIGHT THING.VOTE YES ON R-67.

As I travel around Iowa and New Hampshire I meet young people who don't think Social Security is going to be there for them. They don't believe it's going to be there for them. And I think it's important for us, in addition to getting our fiscal house in order, to acknowledge as Democrats that there may be a problem that we've got to take on. There are no words for how awful that was. For the most part, young people "don't think Social Security is going to be there for them" because they've been deceived, for year after year, by an army of pseudo-conservative dissemblers who are given free rein by our sad, hapless press corps. But there was Obama reinforcing this framework-and Edwards quickly jumped in to support what Obama had said. (Three cheers for Richardson, who noted the very conservative growth estimates which produce Social Security's small projected shortfalls.) Greenspan explained it to Russert on Sunday. Social Security is easy to solve; Medicare is the real future problem. But so what? Russert has become a pure buffoon in the years since he was air-lifted off to Nantucket. He now presents the eternal image of the pompous, uninformed, self-righteous burgher. He knows that Dems should be more godly. And he knows what to pay for a haircut. After the debate, another store-bought Nantucket denizen loudly asked college kids in his audience if they thought they'd ever get SS. But then, Chris Matthews is a long-standing numbskull too-and he pummeled Clinton in his post-debate hour, as he has done to Major Dems ever since his patron, Jack Welch, allowed him to become a "Lost Boy of the Sconset." What does a middle-class democracy get when it hands control of its public discussion to a bunch of corporate-picked multimillionaires? Russert's performance was gruesome this Wednesday-and Matthews was there with Howard Fineman to fawn to this great island man. WE DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS ACCURATE: For the record, we don't know who said this, or when: RUSSERT: The chairman of the Federal Reserve, the head of the Government Accountability Office, have both said that the number of people in America on Social Security and Medicare is going to double in the next 20 years-there are now 40 million; it's going to go to 80 million-and that if nothing is done, we'll have to cut benefits in half or double the taxes. That is their testimony. Does Russert refer to Bernanke and Walker? We can't find where they made the statements Russert gloomily paraphrases. But surely, no one has said such a thing about the fate of SS alone. Russert staged a hopeless discussion. But how about an occasional cite when we're offered such high-powered "testimony?"

But for whatever reason, Russert quickly turned Wednesday's segment into a discussion of Social Security. He blathered ahead with his typically useless data about the number of future recipients-and about the typical age of death back in the mid-1930s. None of these facts are even slightly relevant to a real discussion of Social Security, as pundits have made clear many times, especially during 2005, when Bush's privatization plan hit the deck. (Duh. These useless facts are already part of the future funding formulas!) But Russert rolled out his standard old cant-and drove the discussion away from Medicare, the actual source of future problems. Why did he do this? We have no idea; there seems to be no partisan reason. But we'll offer a suggestion: Inevitably, this is the type of self-impressed, bungled work a middle-class democracy will get-if its lets its major news orgs be run by a mogul elite. You might call this Nantucket-style journalism. The deeply self-impressed Burgher Russert provides such work in spades. Because yes, Russert has done this forever. Back in January 2000, he monopolized a Republican debate with his own set of facts about Social Security, blathering on until Alan Keyes heroically told him to shut his big yap. (See THE DAILY HOWLER, 12/8/04, with a link to real-time reporting.) That summer, he and Joe Klein staged a savage and stupid discussion, trashing Candidate Gore in the strongest terms because he wouldn't go along with Bush's privatization (see THE DAILY HOWLER, 6/7/07). In such discussions down through the years, Russert has sometimes been overblown and inept; often, he has been openly partisan. Inevitably, he has adopted the positions favored by Republicans, and by upper-class journalistic elites. (By general acknowledgment, wealthy media elites had come to favor privatization by the time of Campaign 2000.) But Russert thoroughly bungled this discussion Wednesday night; indeed, he had created a pointless discussion as soon as he turned a segment about "Social Security and Medicare" into a discussion of Social Security alone. Beyond that, a thoroughly jumbled discussion ensued-so jumbled that it was basically useless even as a debate about SS alone. Basic question: How many viewers knew what the candidates meant when they kept talking, without explanation, about "raising the cap" and "lifting the ceiling?" Very, very few, we would guess. And Russert made no attempt to clarify any of this as the long discussion unfolded. He was too busy looking for ways to spring his "gotchas," to recite his irrelevant data.

I want to talk about Social Security and Medicare. The chairman of the Federal Reserve, the head of the Government Accountability Office, have both said that the number of people in America on Social Security and Medicare is going to double in the next 20 years-there are now 40 million; it's going to go to 80 million-and that if nothing is done, we'll have to cut benefits in half or double the taxes. That is their testimony. Senator Biden, in order to prevent that, would you be willing to consider certain steps? For example, back in 1983, Ronald Reagan and Tip O'Neill, Patrick Moynihan and Bob Dole got together and changed the retirement age. It's going to be going up to 67 in a gradual increase. Right now, you pay tax for Social Security on your first $97,500 worth of income. Why not tax the entire income of every American? And if you do that, you'll guarantee the solvency of Social Security farther than the eye can see. "I want to talk about Social Security and Medicare," Russert said at the start of this segment. And then, just like that, for whatever reason, he switched his field to a (largely bungled) discussion of Social Security only. The absurdity of this approach should be obvious; everyone agrees that the real problem with future entitlements concerns the costs of Medicare, not of Social Security. Indeed, the former head of the federal reserve had said this to Russert just three days before the self-impressed burgher led Wednesday evening's debate. On Sunday morning's Meet the Press, Alan Greenspan laid out the shape of the entitlement problem, as even the Greenspans now limn it: RUSSERT (9/23/07): Do you believe either political party has stepped up to the crisis we face with Social Security and Medicare in the coming years? GREENSPAN: I do not. RUSSERT: How big a crisis will that be? GREENSPAN: Social Security is not a big crisis. We are approximately 2 percent points of payroll short over the very long run. It's a significant closing of the gap, but it's doable, and doable in any number of ways. Medicare is a wholly different issue. . . We're going to double the size of the retired population, and by all of the analysis I go through in the book, it's very evident to me that we are not able to actually deliver on the Medicare we are promising. . .

Now I'm mad. Bill O'Reilly did a story about a school that was on the verge of doing away with Halloween and Christmas.
Halloween. . . can you believe it. Now I am pissed. You can take away my Christmas, you can take away my Easter, you can even take away my Birthday but you better not mess with my Halloween. As I watched the show (something that I knew in the back of my mind) it became apparent that the BOR-man didn't have a clue as to what the problem was and what was going on in with this Halloween and Christmas issue. All he knew was the left was out to get the right and that was enough. The issue was that a Muslim woman wanted to decorate a school in honor of the Ramadan, something she has done in the past. She also decorated the schools for Christmas in the past. As I said O'Reilly didn't have a clue what the issues were and just wanted to get his guest to agree with his point of view. I tried to find the Illinois school where this was all going on but the O-man didn't give enough info so that I could do some research. Full how that works. The guest did a great job in staying on topic and would not let the O-man pull his BULLSHIT.RUSSERT AND SOCIAL SECURITY

PART 2-IT TAKES A VILLAGE BURGHER: Tim Russert didn't ask about climate change at Wednesday night's Democratic debate. We had no time for a topic like that. But we did have time for these ruminations. To Russert, these things really mattered: 1) Russert found time to ask John Edwards (for the ten millionth time) about his troubling haircuts. 2) He found time to present the latest 24-style hypothetical-and to play "gotcha" with Hillary Clinton, employing an old Sean Hannity trick. (You get your guest to disagree with a quote. Then, you try to embarrass your guest when you reveal who said it!) 3) He found time to bore the world with a question (to Dennis Kucinich) about a municipal problem in Cleveland-a problem which occurred in Cleveland in 1978. 4) He found time to collect a Bible passage from each of the hopefuls-after leading with the latest RNC-scripted suggestion about the troubling lack of faith among these bad vile Democrats. ("Before we go, there's been a lot of discussion about the Democrats and the issue of faith and values. I want to ask you a simple question...") "There's been a lot of discussion about the Democrats and the issue of faith and values!" And yes, that's true, there has been such discussion-among the nation's pseudo-conservative hacks. But then, Russert has increasingly become a parody of a corporate-selected, multimillionaire mogul. And this is before we consider the bungled discussion he led Wednesday night about Social Security, his favorite topic-the topic on which he has misled the public, and roiled our politics over the past many years.

Today I'm starting a seven part series on SICK IN AMERICA show I saw on Oprah last week.
Instead of talking about $400 dollar haircuts or gotcha questions on a national debate (see Russert in tomorrows post), Oprah held an actual discussion on a single issue Health Care. I admit I watch a lot of the various cable Talk Shows and get really pissed because they just let the talking heads say anything they want true or not. I only watch snippets of some shows because I know going in they are just going to spout their BULLSHIT, Hannity and Colmes is a good example of that. Why is it that Michael Moore is the only one in America talking about this. Why is it that the Talk Shows want to spend all their time talking about BS and not issue. This is a very interesting discussion, I hope that it will help even in just small bit size pieces. * *CHRISTMAS AND EASTER IN OCTOBER
The other day I got an email, you know the kind that gets sent to everyone in the senders address book. I've put a screen shot of part of this email here.
As you might be able to see it dealt with that Tried and True issue of the Right Wing about how The Grinch Stole Christmas and Easter. Now I know this "SO CALLED ISSUE" has been around for a couple of years and I know it helps sell the rightwing books. But hey I only want COSTCO to be talking about Christmas (let alone Easter) in August, September and October. They truly have something to sell. So here is what I said in response to this email.Man the author of this email has to much time on their hands or they watch way, way to much FOX NOISE. What with the issue of Christmas (wonder can I say Xmas?) and Easter being the main problem I'm guessing it's to much FOX. Most likely the Bill O'Reilly and John Gibson shows. Also the author needs to go back to email writing school cause they missed the part about font size, color and case usage. Is it to early to wish all a Merry Christmas and a Happy Easter? PS: The O-man is now defending Rush (phony soldier) Limbaugh, while still wining about is really dumb remarks.

My plan is to LOAN $25.00 a month. I'll setup a running total to help keep me honest. So for now I've got $25.00 out on loan.

FOX NOISE DOES IT AGAIN
I watched The Beltway Boys on FOX NOISE yesterday. They do this up and down segment each week to let us all know what's up and what's down. In yesterdays show Mort Kondracke decided to slam Senator Robert Byrd saying "he turned the hearing over to the Code Pink Crazies."
Well that's not exactly true. . . the FOX CREW has a habit of using what I call "CREATIVE EDITING" by clipping the piece in such a way as to having you believe one thing by not showing the rest of the story. But as you can see by my added clip from C_SPAN of the FULL CONTEXT that Byrd was in full control and indeed cleared the room after having first suspended the hearing. The other part of this clip as what's his face still talking about the MoveOn ad. Don't you think it's funny that they didn't have anything to say about the big Rush Limbaugh who said: "Service members who support U.S. withdrawal are "phony soldiers" During the September 26 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, Rush Limbaugh called service members who advocate U.S. withdrawal from Iraq "phony soldiers." Limbaugh has denounced as "contemptible" and "indecent" MoveOn.org's much-discussed ad -- titled "General Petraeus or General Betray Us?" -- critical of Gen. David Petraeus, but has repeatedly attacked the patriotism of those with whom he disagrees. Wonder if the Congress will put up another resolution condemning these comments like they did the MoveOn.org Ad. My bet is they won't. * *THE PHONY SOLDIER
Bill Moyers does a piece on the seven soldiers that wrote an op-ed piece for the New York Times called "THE WAR AS WE SAW IT." It's a very moving piece and worth your time.
It's nothing that Rush (phony soldier) Limbaugh can understand with his hatred and ideology make up. It's a sad story and yet one that makes you proud of these men that give so much for a worthless war. There is NOTHING PHONY ABOUT THESE GUYS. FOX NEWS WATCH decided to jump into Bill O'Reilly's STUPID ASS REMARK on his radio show.
Billy has been talking about this all week long. He just can't say that he made a mistake or misspoke NOOOOOOO he has to go on and on about how bad he has been smeared by the far left and don't you agree with me. Every show this week from Laura Ingram to Dennis Miller and anybody that would take his side. Listen to the full tape and see if you think BIG AL SHARPTON agrees with the O-man or FOX NEWS WATCH. Also listen to him whine as he starts talking to Sharpton. Hell FAT AL said he hadn't heard the tape. He knew the day before that he was going to be on the show to talk about this. As I said the other day IMUS must be very happy to hear that. As to the Juan Williams thing it's is a question of WHO makes the assignment of reporters for NPR, it's not Williams or even the president. It's NPR end of subject. * *WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD
