Don't kid yourself the right-wing whack jobs have not gone away. I'm in the money. * - - - - - * It's only been two days since Barack Obama was elected the 44th President of the United States and so the impact of that is still sinking in, but I have taken some quite time to think about what all it means to me. . . not the world just me. I don't think the race problem has now gone away, rather I think we now have a real shot at starting to talk about it in a way that we haven't in the past. I thought a few years back during the Don Imus dust up that we had a shot at starting the dialog but it died out with a lack of interest. I'm hoping this time we'll do the right thing. I've also thought how great it is that we have a man that can think and use that process to make the right decisions. A man that will listen to all points of view. A man that can speak in a way that is thoughtful and clear. I don't know how many of his programs will be implemented I hope all of them. But I know it won't be because he didn't try. * - - - - - * I'm still moving my stuff down from upstairs, it's slow cause my left leg is not strong enough. At times when I get down on my knees I have a difficult time getting back up. I'm going to have Gage and Sean tomorrow to give me a hand. My goal is to move all of my books downstairs. We'll see how we do. * - - - - - * I'm still following two races from Tuesday night. Al Franken, Senator from Minn. and Darcy Burner, Congress from Washington. In Al's case it goes into a recount.
