I saw this comment in the CAFFERTY FILE BLOG on CNN yesterday. It is what I was trying to say in my white mans view of the black man's world.

Jack,

I sat there last night and wished my Dad had lived to encounter the feelings that I, and many Americans felt. He died 2 years ago, after working 42 years for local government. I saw his sacrifice and hard work scoffed at, and I watched him be turned down for promotions although he was more qualified than others. I heard him speak about the days when he had to take my mom into the back of a restaurant to get something to eat, and after paying, be told that he had to take it somewhere (off the property) to eat it.

To see someone finally be given the highest office in the land because he was the most qualified, and to know that it took more than African Americans to vote him in is humbling. I told someone today. . . it took all types of Americans to achieve this, and I am proud of my American extended family for allowing this to happen.

Thanks Mr. McCain for reminding us of this in your remarks last night. Congratulations President Obama and Vice President Biden.

I enjoy watching/listening to C-SPAN. But I swear that the right-wing FOX NOISE have done one hellava job on there followers. Every day they have many callers spouting the same BULLSHIT.

Hey don't seem to want to hear or read any detention opinion or facts, because the all repeat the same thing. He Muslim, wasn't born in America. . . you know the stories.

I saw this in an e-mail I got the other day:

In Hannity's America, giving discredited authors Andrew Martin and Jerome Corsi a platform is more important than the truth behind both major party presidential candidates.

Like most conservatives on television, Sean Hannity can certainly tear down people? But can he build things? Well, that's someone else's job.

Hannity has spent the 2008 presidential campaign obsessed about any possible rumor concerning Barack Obama and beating them into the ground. Yet, Obama is now set to be the 44th President of the United States.

I think with the election of Barack and the growing popularity of liberal/progressive radio and TV shows like Obermann and Maddow things are turning away from the HATE. . . HATE. . . HATE from the right-wing.
