Does the John McCain attack Ads on Obama means he's FLIP/FLOPPED on his pledge to run a clean and fair campaign.

I got a bid yesterday to have my roof, gutters, house and little equipment shed cleaned. The man will be here this coming Thursday.

My son came over to pick up a tool chest I gave him and while he was here he pressure washed my upper deck and picnic table so we can re-stain it. See the pictures here.

Sean and Gage will be here today. I think we'll work on cleaning up and organizing my garage.

THE FLIP/FLOP WORLD SERIES -- PART 4 OF 10

Here are some more Flip/Flops for McSAME.

Domestic Policy

19. McCain defended "privatizing" Social Security. Now he says he's against privatization (though he actually still supports it.)

20. McCain wanted to change the Republican Party platform to protect abortion rights in cases of rape and incest. Now he doesn't.

21. McCain supported storing spent nuclear fuel at Yucca Mountain in Nevada. Now he believes the opposite.

22. He argued the NRA should not have a role in the Republican Party's policy making. Now he believes the opposite.

23. In 1998, he championed raising cigarette taxes to fund programs to cut underage smoking, insisting that it would prevent illnesses and provide resources for public health programs. Now, McCain opposes a $0.61-per-pack tax increase, won't commit to supporting a regulation bill he's co-sponsoring, and has hired Philip Morris' former lobbyist as his senior campaign adviser.

24. McCain is both for and against earmarks for Arizona.

25. McCain's first mortgage plan was premised on the notion that homeowners facing foreclosure shouldn't be "rewarded" for acting "irresponsibly." His second mortgage plan took largely the opposite position.

26. McCain went from saying gay marriage should be allowed, to saying gay marriage shouldn't be allowed.

27. McCain opposed a holiday to honor Martin Luther King, Jr., before he supported it.

28. McCain was anti-ethanol. Now he's pro-ethanol.

29. McCain was both for and against state promotion of the Confederate flag.

30. In 2005, McCain endorsed intelligent design creationism, a year later he said the opposite, and a few months after that, he was both for and against creationism at the same time.

JOHN MCSAME LOVE HIS SURGE

John McCain seems caught in a TIME WORP. He thinks the Iraq war started and ended (?) with the surge. Ever since Barack went over seas that's all McSame has talked about, how right he was and how wrong Obama was. But don't you find it funny that he never talks about just how wrong he was going into this War in the first place.

When he accused Obama of wanting to win an election even if it meant losing a war is one of the most boneheaded remarks I have ever heard of. But even before that intemperate charge, he said something equally damning: "The fact is, if we had done what Sen. Obama wanted to do, we would have lost."

As I said McCain starts the historical clock running after the invasion and even after the surge. For all his complaints about the media, he's been able to focus the Iraq debate on the surge's success. He repeatedly has said, "I'm proud that I was right. That's what judgment is about. That's why I'm qualified to lead."

But what if "we had done what Obama wanted to do" in 2002, when he was a lowly state senator and an opponent of invasion? We wouldn't have roared into this disaster. What if we dated judgment to the prewar days? Is McCain still proud that he was right?

We cannot rewind the past. But it's still fair to measure a candidate by his view on our entrance to this war.

The current president never has admitted that we invaded Iraq on false premises or phony pre-emptives or fictitious weapons of mass destruction. Bush will breeze home to Texas without a modicum of guilt. Do we want another president like that?

BUSHED

Keith Olbermann has listed the various scandles in the Bush administration. Here are three more.

Surge co-planner: 'Stupid idea' to invade Iraq

The New Republic's Spencer Ackerman reports that former Australian Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. David Kilcullen, who is an advisor to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, told him in an interview, "the biggest stupid idea, was to invade Iraq in the first place." Keith Olbermann explains in Bushed.

Retired lieutenant fears Al Jazeera kidnap plot

A guest booker from al Jazeera tried to book Fla. GOP congressional hopeful Ret. Army Lt. Col Allen West to talk about the increased violence in Afghanistan. But since West hasn't been to the country in months, he assumed this was a plot to kidnap him. Keith Olbermann explains in Worst Person in the World.
