You'll want to be one of the first to make a contribution to this great man's legacy. The Library will include:
* Last, but not least, there will be an entire floor devoted to a 7/8-scale model of the President's ego.I get the feeling that FOX NOISE is worried about their Fair and Balanced slogan because when ever they get a sympathetic democrat on they always want them to say just how F & B Fox is. I would worry too if I had to ask all the time.
When have they ever been right about anything. CORRECTION: Saturday, June 1 Puerto Rico Caucus 63 delegatesWHAT HAPPENED? . . . OOPS
And they said that the government can't move fast. This is just great to see how fast the Bush administration, FOX NOISE and others have jumped on Scott McClellan and his new book "WHAT HAPPENED".
I'll cover some of the reaction from the right tomorrow. For now enjoy this little overview.By: Mike Allen Former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan writes in a surprisingly scathing memoir to be published next week that President Bush "veered terribly off course," was not "open and forthright on Iraq," and took a "permanent campaign approach" to governing at the expense of candor and competence. Among the most explosive revelations in the 341-page book, titled "What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception" o McClellan charges that Bush relied on "propaganda" to sell the war. o He says the White House press corps was too easy on the administration during the run-up to the war. o He admits that some of his own assertions from the briefing room podium turned out to be "badly misguided." o The longtime Bush loyalist also suggests that two top aides held a secret West Wing meeting to get their story straight about the CIA leak case at a time when federal prosecutors were after them - and McClellan was continuing to defend them despite mounting evidence they had not given him all the facts. o McClellan asserts that the aides - Karl Rove, the president's senior adviser, and I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, the vice president's chief of staff - "had at best misled" him about their role in the disclosure of former CIA operative Valerie Plame's identity. This is all stuff we knew for a long, long time but it's the fun to see the right go all crazy over this. Scott's a liar, he's not the same Scott they knew, he's more like a "left wing Blogger" and so it goes. I'm waiting for Scott to go on Jon Stewart. * *
RATHER TEDIOUS
Does anyone believe this guy anymore? Listen to him when he says "I find that rather tedious myself" and yet he puts it on his show because WHY again. . . "BE CAUSE HE FINDS IT RATHER TEDIOUS".
The man is nuts. * *A GOVERNMENT ILL EXECUTED
Bill Moyers talks about a new book called A Government Ill Executed. It talks about the mismanagement that has taken place in this administration. From the Farm Bill to the Sub Prime Mortgages, the FAA overlook safety inspections.
