THE FAT LADY IS IN THE WINGS

I watched the democratic debate last night. I found it to be one of the best if not the very best one yet. But there was something about the closing remarks that really made me sit up and take notice. That's the subject of the video below.

I think there was something inevitable in Hillary's last few words. As she talked she got almost teary eyed. She said that she was "honored, just absolutely honored to be here with Barack Obama." And that she "hopes that she will be able to say the same thing about the American people."

To me I think she was saying the race is over and she knows it and was taking this time to show that there was no animosity between her and Barack.

I THINK IT WAS A CLASSY MOMENT.

THERE IS NO HOPE FOR BILL O'REILLY

That Fair and Balanced guy Bill O'Reilly at FOX NOISE is at it again. As Keith Olbermann said yesterday in my post "Do you think that words matter" it turns out to Bill they don't.

In his Back Of The Book segment he has his OMBUDSWOMAN on to talk about his Michelle Obama comment where he used the word "LYNCHING"

First of all I looked up the word OMBUDSMAN and here is what I found: A man/woman who investigates complaints and mediates fair settlements, especially between aggrieved parties such as consumers or students and an institution or organization.

So in this segment BillO has Laurie Dhue his so called Ombudswoman on to discuss his comments.

To me this is a bunch of FLUFF it's a joke and they both know it. I guess the only ones that don't seem to know it are his hard core viewers.

He keeps trying to say that he was defending her and will not address the real issue of his using the word "LYNCHING". It's one of those words like the "N" word and now "KNAPPY HEADED H**"

The guy just can't seem to admit he is wrong or made a mistake and so he looks for ways to distract from the real issues. Here are three examples of what I mean.

1. The issue on his comments about going to a restaurant in Harlem where black folks acted normal. What does he do he get Al Sharpton on to show that he was one of the boys. Al is just happy to get some free air time he's yesterdays news.

2. His slamming of John Edwards for saying there are thousands of homeless vets turned into a nightmare for him because BillO said that was a lie. The Vets Administration itself supports Edwards. So what does BillO do he says he's "PUSHING FOR A NEW GI BILL" like he has anything to do with it. He'll report on it from time to time. BIG FREAKING DEAL.

3. Now this LYNCHING thing he uses the Ombudsman nonsense to address the issue by saying he was actually supporting Michelle. What BULLSHIT. He will not admit his mistake in using that word no matter what.

I still believe his days as the big star of cable TV are numbered as are many of the right wing talk radio hosts. People are looking for change. They are tired of this name calling.
