RACE IN AMERICA
Remember back almost a year ago when Don Imus made his stupid remark about the Rutgers women's basketball team and then was fired and pulled off the air.
I thought then that we would have an OPEN and HONEST discussion about race in this country. It didn't happen. Most recently a female sports radio commentator made a dumb remark about golfing's Tiger Woods. She apologized to Tiger and was taken off the air for two week. No more talk about that one. Golf Magazine did a story on the above incident using a hangmen's knot on the magazine cover. The editor of that story was fired. No more discussion. Then we had the big dust up over what was and wasn't said by the Hillary campaign regarding Martin L King and Barack Orama. The story was twisted by the media. They used clips and much editing to make their point, all of which was wrong. Here is Bill Moyers take on what the media did. It's very clear. * *FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH
