All this NOISE over the question asked by Keith Kerr a retired general with 43 years service and is openly gay. His question was: "I want to know why you think that American men and women in uniform are not professional enough to serve with gays and lesbians."
It was later learned that he had ties to the Hillary camp. Some folks are off the page on this saying it's a planted question, CNN should be suspended, Anderson Cooper didn't do his job and other nonsense like this. I say what the hell is wrong with that question and how does who that guy supports have anything to do with the question. House and Senate negotiators are poised to seal a deal on an energy bill that would strengthen fuel economy standards for the first time in three decades and require billions of gallons of alternative fuels to be incorporated into gasoline over the next 13 years, according to staffers and draft language being circulated.
It would require the nation's fleet of vehicles to meet a 35 miles-per-gallon mileage standard by 2020 and would mandate 20.5 billion gallons of ethanol and other biofuels to be in use by 2015. Neither of these measures were in the House bill (HR 3221) passed in August. There is consensus in the House and Senate that it should be 35 miles per gallon by 2020. WELL HOW SPECIAL IS THAT. . .
