THE NEW BUSH BUMPER STICKERS

That's OK; I Wasn't Using My Civil Liberties Anyway.

THIS IS LIKE DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN.

102507_then_now.jpg

You know President Bush sometimes gets it right, like this quote from a speech he made back in 2002.

"There's an old saying in Tennessee - I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee - that says, fool me once, shame on - shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again."

--- President George W. Bush, Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002

With that said listen to this sound bite made today and back in 2002 and ask yourself ARE YOU FOOLED AGAIN?

POLITICS AND TERROR 7 of 12

CD_fear07_082306.jpg

So now IRAQ isn't enough now president Bush wants World War Three with IRAN.

Back in August 2006 Keith Olbermann did a piece on his show Countdown called Politics and Terror. This was a replay of the show he had previously done.

This is a 12 part series and at the time I didn't have the disk space to run it. That's changed since I moved to GoDaddy for my Hosting.

With the comment by president Bush yesterday using the WWIII scare tactic I thought this was a good time to run this.

As you watch this series keep in mind that great line by president Reagan "THERE YOU GO AGAIN. The Bush folks love to play the FEAR CARD.

CHENEY AND FEAR 7 of 14

101607_FL_cheney00.jpg

YOU SHOULD BE WORRIED VERY, VERY WORRIED

I saw this on FRONTLINE the other night. It confirms one thing in my mind and that is Cheney is the real president it's just that he does his thing from that damn undisclosed location.

As I watched this video it reminded me about some of my Posts in the past where Cheney said one thing a few years back but today does the complete opposite on almost everything. He's scary.

This is a 16 part series and it traces the how Cheney evolved to the crazy person he is today. Good thing Halloween is coming up cause he'll fit right in. He is scary. . . really, really scary.

Where the hell is the BIG RED BUTTON?

HOW EASY THEY LIE

102507_BO_cnnmsnbc.jpg

An open letter to Laura Due of FOX NEWS

Hi Ms Due,

I know you won't challenge Bill O'Reilly with the below FACTS but I'm going to send them anyway and suggest that you at least think about it and if you don't think it's creditable that you check it out with CNN and MSNBC as to the dates and times. I'm sure they would like to set the record straight.

I know that WORD SMITHING along with CREATIVE EDITING is a technique that The O'Reilly Factor uses. For example in this case he said "On their PRIME-TIME broadcast last night, CNN and MSNBC just said no to Lieutenant Michael Murphy and his proud family." O'Reilly added, "The hard truth is that MSNBC and CNN are not going to report stories that reflect well on the American military because those people over there despise the Bush administration and believe anything positive like American heroes in war zones, detract from their negative assessment of the administration."

Well if you heard his Talking Point Memo (listen below) or read the above you can't help but believe that CNN and MSNBC have ignored this soldiers high service and sacrifice which couldn't be further from the truth.

HERE IS THE TRUTH:

On the 2 p.m. ET segment of CNN Newsroom, anchor Don Lemon introduced a report on Murphy by CNN Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr by asserting, "The ultimate sacrifice, the highest honor, a Navy SEAL killed in Afghanistan, he makes history [as the first to receive the Medal of Honor from the war in Afghanistan]," a report that also aired on the 7 p.m. ET segment of The Situation Room. CNN also noted the award on the 6 a.m., 7 a.m., and 8 a.m. ET segments of American Morning, as well as the 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. ET segments of CNN Newsroom.

On the 11 a.m. edition of MSNBC Live, anchor Contessa Brewer questioned MSNBC military analyst Jack Jacobs, a retired Army colonel and himself a Medal of Honor recipient, about Murphy's award. The 2 p.m. edition of MSNBC Live aired live coverage of more than 11 minutes of the award ceremony, including the entirety of President Bush's speech, which ran more than seven minutes.

Murphy's award was also reported on the 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. ET editions of MSNBC Live.

O'Reilly suggested that the military has become "a casualty of a committed left ideology that is in play on our competition" and asserted, "I don't want to hear CNN or NBC News say they support the troops. I don't ever want to hear that."

I'm sure that he'll say he was honest and right on because he said "IN PRIME TIME" (WORD SMITHING) and not throughout the day. But if you believe that is honest reporting than there is nothing I can say that will ever change your mind in view of what the facts and the real story is. CNN and MSNBC both gave this story a fair hearing.

MSNBC even carried the ceremony live, I wonder if that is true of FOX?

GREAT QUOTES:

Ever consider what our dogs must think of us? I mean, here we come from a grocery with the most amazing haul, chicken, pork, half a cow. They must think we're the greatest hunters on earth! -- Anne Tyler
