THEY LOSE AGAIN
The Bainbridge Island resident challenging the voter registration of Central Kitsap Commissioner Josh Brown withdrew his challenge this afternoon.
After passing the letter to the board this afternoon, Olsen left the room without any comment. The hearing proceeded without him, with Brown's attorney, John Morgan of Silverdale, representing his client's side in the matter. At the conclusion of his statement, Morgan said he planned to file a criminal felony complaint against Olsen. He said that by filing the affidavit, Olsen committed perjury. The affidavit filed and signed by Olsen stated he had evidence to prove Brown did not live at the address he listed on his voter registration card but instead with his parents on Olympic View Drive. "My point is," Morgan said, "when he said Mr. Brown was living at Olympic View Drive, when he signed the affidavit, he had no idea where Mr. Brown lived at the time." After the conclusion of the hearing Morgan walked across the street to file charges against Olsen.JON STEWART ON IRAN

THINGS I DON'T GET
1.) Do you ever wonder who REALLY owns the U.S. Well the image on the left will give you a clue.
2.) Is a lie only a lie if it is said under oath? (i.e. I did not have sex with that women, vs. WMD's and Saddam / Al Qaeda connection) . And which lie is worse. 3.) In the Anna Nicole Smith case there are 5 or 6 men that now claim to be the father of her baby girl Dannielynn. What happens if the DNA doesn't match any of the above??? 4.) I wonder how it is we can drum up many millions of dollars for a NASCAR track (over $150 million) but can't seem to find $3.9 million for two elementary schools. 5.) Surely, at this stage, the White House would be willing to admit that conditions in Iraq following the 2003 invasion haven't gone exactly according to plan? White House Press Secretary Tony Snow was asked about this today at the daily briefing, following the release of military documents from 2002 that revealed that the U.S. expected that by now a token American force of 5,000 would be able to keep things under control in Iraq -- and the occupation would require only a two or three month "stabilization" period. "What went wrong?" the reporter reasonably asked. Snow replied: "I'm not sure anything went wrong." Is Snow nuts or what?."

ZEN FOR THE MODERN WORLD
6. Never test the depth of the water with both feet.
7. If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of car payments. 8. Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes. 9. If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you. 10. Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day. 11. If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it. 12. If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.
