I'M SO TIRED OF THIS

TroopDeath.jpg

I'm so tired of this BULLSHIT. I'm tired of hearing the president say we will continue to sacrifice in order to win this war. What sacrifice? We haven't made one damn sacrifice to fight this war.

I'm so tired of the SUPPORT THE TROOPS BULLSHIT it makes me sick. These guys came back from the war and can't get a job. There medical treatment is cut back. They are not being taken care of as they should be. But oh yes we can build that damn bridge to nowhere in Alaska. If congress had any balls (which they don't) they would have cut the bridge and let that crazy bastard Senator Ted Stevens resign. You don't really think he would do you.

I've said it before that people put the flag on their car or truck, buy bumper strips and ribbons that say SUPPORT THE TROOPS and they think they are. It's nuts. This WAR was not needed the one in Afghanistan to hunt down Osama Ben Laden was.

What does winning the war in Iraq mean? We have beat terrorism? I don't think so. John Kerry was right fighting terrorists is more like a police action. Yes I remember how that was twisted and distorted by the republicans during the last campaign, but think about this.

Let's say we drive all the terrorist out of Iraq. Do we then declare victory? Will all the terrorist in the world say OK you win, we'll never do anything bad again. I don't think so. That's why this is closer to a police action than a war.

Fighting them there so we don't have to fight them here is a nice slogan, but it's just BULLSHIT. These are terrorist and they don't fight by the same old rules of the past. We will be fighting them here as well as overthere and around the world. It's going to require police action not troops fighting these thugs.

Getting back to the sacrifice that President Bush keeps talking about. Have you sacrificed anything? Have I? The answer is no we haven't. In fact we are borrowing money from China to pay for this war so our kids or their kids will end up being the ones that pay for this war. At the very least we should have raised taxes to pay for this damn war and at least we would be doing something to support the troops.

PRETTY GOOD JOKE

An Old Farmer's Advice:

givepeace.jpg

  • For everything there is a season,
  • And a time for every matter under heaven:
  • A time to be born, and a time to die;
  • A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
  • A time to kill, and a time to heal;
  • A time to break down, and a time to build up;
  • A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
  • A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
  • A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
  • A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
  • A time to seek, and a time to lose;
  • A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
  • A time to tear, and a time to sew;
  • A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
  • A time to love, and a time to hate,
  • A time for war, and a time for peace.
  • Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
